🍊 Prosek’s Digital Download: TikTok Bans Financial Services Ads
The best digital marketing newsletter in financial services.
Hi everyone!
Thank you for the stellar response to our newsletter launch last month. We had over 100 people subscribe and a lot of them ask us if we could send these more frequently. So… your wish is our command! We’re shifting Prosek’s Digital Download to a fortnightly publishing schedule (every two weeks).
In the meantime, we’re pumped to be back with the second edition of what we hope is the best digital marketing newsletter in financial services.
In today’s newsletter, we cover TikTok’s ban on financial services ads, Instagram’s new comment limit feature, and LinkedIn’s push for native video ads (no longer allowing YouTube and Vimeo links on mobile). We’ve also made sure to include some interesting reads and real-life marketing inspiration to leave you feeling up to date with the digital world.
This newsletter is a joint effort from the Prosek Digital team—special thanks to Matthew Mazzella, Alexis EauClaire and Madeline Monaco for helping with this edition.
Oh and in case you were wondering, I’ve been playing Pick Your Battles by Petit Biscuit and Diplo on repeat, listening to Recode Daily on my daily walks and came across this interesting read: An Emoji For Your Thoughts by Microsoft Design, to leave you thinking about what a world without emojis would look like. From :) to 😊, and to additional emojis sketches capturing the new hybrid world, a lot has changed since.
Enjoy!
